Fakenham: Question time for politicians

WITH a general election imminent, Fakenham College students are looking forward to grilling five prospective parliamentary candidates.

Adopting a Question Time format, the gathering at the Conference Hall

will be chaired by college director John McCourt with a panel representing the Conservatives, Labour, the Lib Dems, UKIP and the Greens.

All are vying for the parliamentary seat of Broadland. Students taking

part are from Years 12 and 13 with many of them eligible to vote for the first time this year.

The afternoon is part of the Beyond College programme and takes place

tomorrow (Thursday) between 2pm and 3.30pm.
