Festive Royals - SEE PICTURES

Waiting for Video...

MEMBERS of the Royal family attended the traditional Christmas Day service at Sandringham, as our pictures show.

Notably, Prince Philip was missing as he was recovering in hospital from a medical procedure after having chest pains. He has since been released to re-join his family.

Onlookers were keen to see the Duchess of Cambridge, attending her first Christmas at Sandringham as a member of the Royal family.

The Queen, in her annual Christmas address, spoke about the importance of family, referring to the wedding of the Duke and Duchess earlier in the year.

Also, Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge turned-up to watch Prince William play a Christmas Eve football match with Lord Howard at Castle Rising.

Lynn News picture editor Paul Marsh was there to record the scene.
