First meeting of year at St Germans

Sunshine Club – The first meeting, which was also the annual meeting, was held in the Memorial Hall.
Rose welcomed members. Members had a balance sheet for the last year but as the treasurer was away some questions could not be answered.
The present committee is: chairman, Rose Storf; secretary, Pat Bailey; treasurer Marion Vincent; entertainment, Jean Green; members Beryl and Stan Robinson. It was agreed that the membership fee would be 1.50.
The monthly fee of 1 includes a cup of tea and a biscuit. The meeting is held on the last Wednesday of the month, 2-4pm, and anyone is welcome to join.
After the business, a game of Hoy was played with June and Doreen as callers. A cup of tea, with a nice slice of Amy's birthday cake was enjoyed, followed by the raffle with Mary in charge.
Pearl auctioned the produce. Reg was unable to attend and he is wished a speedy recovery.
