Five hurt in two-car Egmere crash

FIVE people were taken to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital after two cars collided on the B1105 at Egmere, near Walsingham, on Thursday morning.

One woman with suspected head and neck injuries was trapped and was freed from the wreckage by firefighters. The other casualties included one woman with a possible fractured collar-bone, another with a suspected broken rib and a man suffering from chest pain.

Two children and a man escaped injury.

Two ambulances attended the incident, which happened at about 9.30am near Bunkers Hill.

Two Fakenham fire appliances also attended and firefighters cared for casualties at the scene and made sure the vehicles were safe.
