Gifts from Middleton's Buttercups

HARVEST produce, including home grown fruit and vegetables, has been given to a local residential care home by children who attend Buttercups playgroup at Middleton.

The children and their parents responded generously when it was suggested that they should make up boxes of produce for Winchley Home, at West Winch.

They then invited Winchley Home manager, Gina Reeve, to one of their morning meetings to collect the gifts.

"We managed to make up some impressive harvest boxes of fruit and vegetables for her to take away," said Buttercups' chairman Kate Senter.
