Graduates celebrate their success

IT was a day to celebrate on Saturday as students from Lynn's College of West Anglia toasted their graduations.

Around 140 graduates attended the celebrations, which featured a procession from Lynn Town Hall to St Nicholas' Chapel where the proud students were presented with their certificates.

Celebrations continued after the ceremony with a reception and buffet at the college followed by an official graduation ball at Lynn Corn Exchange.

The sixth annual graduation saw students receiving BAs, HNDs and HNCs in a variety of subjects including English, history and animal sciences, while foundation degrees were also presented in topics such as early years education and popular music.

The ceremony also saw Mark Hannay, who gained a BA in psycho-social studies, named as the College of West Anglia student of the year.
