Handbag seized by teen in North Lynn

A TEENAGER snatched a woman's handbag from her as she walked along Woolstencroft Avenue, North Lynn, last Tuesday afternoon.

The male thief, described as 16 to 18 years old and wearing a black hooded top, struck between 1pm and 1.30pm.

Fortunately, the 38-year-old woman was not injured in the incident. Her grey handbag contained three mobile phones and some credit cards.

A Norfolk police spokesman said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who might have seen someone running in the area at that time with a grey handbag to contact Detective Constable Natalie Staff, at Lynn CID, on 0845 456 4567."
