HARDWICK: Fundraisers best in region

Staff at Lynn’s Hardwick Tesco store donned their capes for a last fundraising boost to their charity of the year - Cancer Research UK.

Donations of £385 made the best regional fundraising team’s total £7,800, but staff hope to reach £8,000 when they hold a rockstars fancy dress day on March 23.

Amy Ranger, community champion, said: “It would be great to hit the £8,000 mark!”

Local band, Bewildered, will be playing instore on the day.
