Hats off for baby appeal

A YOUNG enterprise group used their money-making skills to raise £253 for the Lynn News Special Care Baby Appeal.

The Wisbech Grammar School group formed Calypso producing products, including a range of hats, scarves and gloves, from recycled and scrap paper, jewellery, wood and clothes.

It donated some of its profits to the appeal and also threw a hat day where students made a donation to wear headgear.

Calypso is running for the duration of the school year and competing against other young enterprise businesses.

Its donation adds to the 150,000 appeal for a vital expansion and revamp Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for ill and premature babies.
