Hauled out of Terrington ditch

AN ELDERLY man had to be hauled out of a ditch by firefighters after plunging 12ft, but escaped without serious injury.

Emergency services were called to School Road, Terrington St John, at 2.22pm today (Monday).

The man was checked over by ambulance crews before returning home without need of any treatment.
