HEACHAM: Brain injury after fall killed man

A retired procurement officer from Heacham died in Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital on November 9 two days after a fall.

Norfolk coroner William Armstrong told the opening of an inquest in Norwich that George Graby, 86, of Jennings Close, died from a traumatic brain injury caused by the fall.

He had the fall outdoors on November 7 and was taken to the Lynn hospital that day, but died two days later.

Mr Armstrong adjourned the inquest for further inquiries to be made.
