Heacham success in a cup

ORGANISERS of a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning at a Heacham caravan park have celebrated raising more than £400 for the charity.

The event at the Pioneer Holiday Park, on South Beach Road, was organised as part of the charity's annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraiser and attracted more than 100 visitors and residents.

Despite the miserable weather, organisers Valerie Nicholson and Margaret Green managed to raise 419 and it is now hoped the event will become a regular fixture at the park.
