Staff at the Bushel and Strike pub raised an impressive £818 through their male topless calendar for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The pub on Mill Street in Heacham sold 70 of the calendars for £10 each before the new year.

The calendar featured 11 local chaps, all happy to undress and strike a pose for the cause.

Landlady Paula Gregson said she chose the air ambulance as it was “a fantastic charity which needs a lot of support”.

She was very pleased at the great response the calendar had and was grateful to all those who helped put it together.

The effort raised £700 with the the remaining money from a collection at the bar.

Landlady Mrs Gregson sent special thanks to Jay Watkins, Craig Darwin, Rob Daniels, Damon Richardson, Marc Coker, Harry Skoyles, Luke Graham, Denny Turner, Tim Hullet, and Dougie and David Diggins for modelling.

She also praised Amy Todd and Adam Dye for the photography, Hayley Coker for design and all the local businesses who advertised in the calendar covering the production costs, and all who bought the calendar.
