Help appeal and win a home in sunny Spain

A COUPLE are offering their Spanish home in a £25-a-ticket draw – and hope to boost the Lynn News Special Care Baby Appeal in the process.

Andy and Beverly Rockcliffe hope to sell 20,000 tickets and the winner will get the house in Malaga, all legal fees and taxes covered and two return UK air fares.

They are donating 25p from every ticket sold to the appeal as a thank you for the care their tiny grandson received at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital. If every ticket goes the appeal will receive a 5,000 donation.

The appeal aims to generate 150,000 for an expansion and revamp of the unit.

The Rockliffe's first grandson Zack is now thriving after being cared for in Lynn when he was born three months prematurely in June last year, to their son Neil and daughter-in-law Rebecca.

Lynn was the closest hospital to the couple's home in Essex with the expertise to care for Zack and a spare cot at the time, as reported in the Lynn News.

The contest is the latest show of support from the family. Neil Rockliffe makes regular donations.

If ticket sales do not reach the target, a cash prize will be awarded. The closing date is Friday, July 31.
