Hold-ups follow double-fatal A47 crash

TWO teenagers died in a crash which led to rush hour chaos for motorists travelling between Lynn and Wisbech.

A 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old girl were killed when the Ford Ka they were travelling in was in collision with a Jeep Grand Cherokee on the A47 soon after 10.30pm last night.

Another female occupant of the Ka was also injured.

The crash closed a section of the road for ten hours, leading motorists to face queues and diversions until 8.45am this morning.

Police have not yet publicly named the two teenagers, said to be from the Wisbech area.
