HOLKHAM: Volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to help maintain the grounds at Holkham Nature Reserve over the coming seasons for the birds and wildlife that call it home.

There are opportunities to get involved with valuable bird, plant and butterfly survey work on the reserve, help preserve sand dunes, which are vital to many coastal species, on Sunday, February 24.

Anyone wishing to get involved should meet at Lady Anne’s Drive at 10am, where tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided. Those planning to stay all day should bring their own lunch.

Volunteers are also needed at Holkham Hall throughout the visitors’ season in both the Bygones Museum and the Walled Gardens, for general maintenance and restoration projects.
