KING’S LYNN: Apply to be housing developer’s charity of the year
A development company that works across West Norfolk is calling on charities across Lynn to come forward and tell them why they need a fundraising boost.
Peterborough-based Persimmon Homes East Midlands will appoint the most deserving cause as the company’s chosen charity. This charity will then receive the proceeds from a variety of fundraising events held throughout the region during 2013.
Adrian Evans, managing director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands, is hoping good causes across Lynn will get involved and put themselves forward for the special prize.
He said: “As a business we work hard and are proud to create homes for families and individuals.
“We’ve made this announcement today as our way of giving something back to one of these communities.
“It’s an excellent opportunity for one charity looking to raise their regional profile and receive additional funding.”
To enter charities, their supporters need to state in no more than 250 words why they should become Persimmon’s chosen charity for 2013.
Entries must be sent to cheryl.bissett@persimmonhomes.com and received no later than Friday 15th February 2013.
