KING’S LYNN: Freemasons so generous

Hundreds of pounds were raised for cancer care services at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital during a fashion show organised by the family of a former patient.
Paul Bingham underwent treatment in the hospital’s chemotherapy unit three years ago.
His sister Mandy Pears, and her daughter Hayley, organised a fashion show to raise cash for the unit.
Mandy said: “This is the second fashion show that we have held to raise funds for the unit. We want the money to go towards helping other patients, as a thank you for the good care given by the hospital staff.”
The event, which was held at the Chatteris working men’s club in November, raised £550 for the cause.
Paul, Mandy and Hayley presented the cheque to Sister Sharon Holmes, second right. Picture submitted.
