KING’S LYNN: Horse ‘tries to escape box’ on busy road

Motorists are facing delays close to Lynn’s Hardwick roundabout this afternoon after a horse reportedly tried to get out of its box.

Emergency crews were alerted to the incident on the A149 Queen Elizabeth Way at around 1.40pm today, Wednesday.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said fire crews and a vet were still at the scene as it was feared the animal may have become trapped inside the vehicle. The road remains blocked.
