Another £1,000 has been raised by the Methwold-based Special Care Baby Charity to help sick babies at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Since it started about 14 years ago, the charity run by Michael Legge and Nigel Malster has given more than £20,000 to the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit.
The latest donation represented the proceeds of an evening of food and entertainment held at Methwold High School on February 2 as a thank you to the charity’s loyal sponsors.
Mr Legge said: “We have fundraising bingos and dances all year and our sponsors provide us with raffle prizes.”
