KING’S LYNN: New Bodyworks gym to open doors today

A new £325,000 gym at Lynnsport will be opened today.

The new Bodyworks fitness studio has been completed two weeks ahead of schedule and will be formally unveiled by David Pope, West Norfolk Council cabinet member for assets, this morning.

The studio, which was created after the site’s bowls hall was converted to a five lane facility, contains state-of-the-art cardiovascular fitness equipment.

The old studio has been made into a dedicated performance area.

Mr Pope said: “I really hope these changes will encourage even more people to come along and use the facilities and start to feel the benefits associated with a fit and active lifestyle.”

“I would particularly like to thank the Lynnsport Bowlers for their patience and support during the initial development phase.”
