KING’S LYNN: Pensioner died after fall at home

A pensioner died after falling at her home, an inquest at Lynn heard yesterday.

Elaine Wilson, 78, of Main Road, Brookville, was found unconscious by her cleaner Janet Jarred, at 7.30am on November 23. She called an ambulance, but when Mrs Wilson arrived at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital doctors found she had suffered a huge haemmorrhage and medical intervention was not appropriate.

Coroner William Armstrong said: “Mrs Wilson was a warm and caring person and someone with high standards. She will be remembered with much affection and much respect.”
