A new group for photographers in the Lynn area has got off to a flying start with 41 members signing up.

The King’s Lynn Photography Group was founded by Tracey Robinson, who runs her own photographic business, Red Fish, and is a former chairwoman of King’s Lynn Camera Club.

She said she was delighted with the level of interest shown in the new group, which will meet twice a month at Gaywood Church Rooms.

The fortnightly sessions are now full and the response has been so enthusiastic that 15 people have already registered their interest in joining a second group.

Mrs Robinson, 46, said meetings were friendly and fun with a mixture of lectures and practical sessions. “Everyone is treated the same.

“We are all there for a reason – to learn something new,” she said.

More information is available from the group’s Facebook page, Kings Lynn Photography Group.

Mrs Robinson thanked her husband, Eric, for his help in setting up the group and West Norfolk Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Garry and Jenny Sandell, who attended the opening meeting.
