KING’S LYNN: Police appeal for witnesses to crash on A149

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash which left a pensioner in critical condition.

A red Mercedes B class saloon car and a black Mercedes ML class car were involved in a collision near the Knight’s Hill roundabout, on the A149 on Saturday night.

The driver of the red Mercedes, a man in his 80s from Downham, is in a critical condition in Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Three other people were taken to hospital after the collision on the Hunstanton side of the roundabout.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident is asked to contact serious collision investigation team on 101.
