KING’S LYNN: School book IV

The author of books about the history of three Lynn schools is now planning a fourth.

Michael Walker’s latest project is an account of Alderman Catleugh School, which opened in 1958 – as shown above – and merged with Lynn’s High School for Girls in 1979 to form Springwood High School.

Mr Walker is appealing to former students and staff of the school to contact him with their reminiscences.

Mr Walker has already written a book about the girls’ high school and is in the process of producing a DVD of two films made there is 1937 and 1964. He has also written books about King Edward VII and Lynn Grammar Schools.
