LATEST NEWS: Swaffham man ‘critical’ after road crash
A 21-year-old man from the Swaffham area is in a critical condition in hospital following a road traffic collision near Watton.
The incident took place at some point before 4.45am on Wednesday, February 6 at Bodney on the B1108, close to the junction with the A1065, when a silver Honda Civic left the road and collided with a tree.
The male driver, who comes from the Swaffham area, was initially taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with serious head injuries. He was subsequently transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where his condition has been described as critical.
Roads policing officers are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen the vehicle following the collision or witnessed the manner of driving of the Honda prior to the incident.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Norfolk police on 101.
