LEZIATE: Missing man search suspended

A police search for a missing man in Snettisham has been suspended.

Leziate man Andrew Simpson has been missing since Thursday last week.

His vehicle, a Vauxhall Astra, was found on Sunday on Beach Road, Snettisham.

Officers with colleagues from the Coastguard and Lowlands Rescue scoured the beach.

A police spokesman said: “Our focus at the moment is on background research, trying to identify locations he may be. We have completed the actual searching on the ground for the meantime, although this may resume depending on the results.”
