Lynn college's pledge to educate staff
LYNN'S College of West Anglia has made a public pledge to help its staff improve their skills.
The college has signed the Skills Pledge, a voluntary agreement to support all its employees to develop their basic skills, including literacy and numeracy, and work towards a full level two qualification equivalent to five GCSEs grades A* to C.
It has been designed by the Government to ensure all staff are skilled, competent and able to make a full contribution to the success of the organisation.
Mark Reavell, the college's assistant principal for employer engagement, said: "The college is one of the major employers in the region as well as being the largest training provider. We are pleased to be able to sign the Skills Pledge and show our determination to help improve the skills of local people through work-based training opportunities."
Employers interested in learning more about staff training can call the college on 01553 691001 or email cwabusiness@colwestanglia. ac.uk
