Lynn hotel site gets approval

A FOUR-storey block of 14 flats can be built on the landmark former East Anglian Hotel site in Blackfriars Road, Lynn, it has been decided.

West Norfolk's development control board followed officers' recommendation to approve the Rexstone Properties' plan when it met on Monday.

The decision followed a refusal for 19 flats for being the wrong design and height for the conservation area.

The new plan includes one and two-bedroomed flats.
