Lynn ladies run for lifeboat

LYNN'S Lynnsport Ladybirds running club has presented £100 cheques to Hunstanton and West Norfolk RNLI Lifeboat Guild and The Willows NCH young carers' scheme in Gaywood.

The presentations by club leader Sharon Fettes (second right, front) took place at the Lynnsport complex during the Ladybirds' annual meeting last Wednesday.

Christine O'Keeffe and Anriette Mynhardt, from The Willows scheme, and Margaret Bullen (right, front), chairman of the local lifeboat guild, picked up the cheques.

The money came from the running club's funds.

"We like to help local charities where we can," Mrs Fettes said.
