Lynn man (28) died of heroin overdose
A RUSSIAN factory worker collapsed and died of a heroin overdose in a Lynn flat, an inquest heard.
Filip Glushakov, also known as Sergey Trushkin, was found lying beside the toilet with a needle and a pool of vomit nearby on June 29, the hearing at Lynn County Court was told on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old, of Wellesley Street, Lynn, was at the Hillington Square flat visiting Severino Duarte, who said he had not seen Mr Glushakov for years and could not even remember his name but welcomed him in any way.
Mr Duarte said he and another friend – Mark Chilvers – spent the evening with Mr Glushakov and they eventually fell asleep in the living room.
Mr Duarte later stumbled across Mr Glushakov's lifeless body in the bathroom.
The two men could not resuscitate the Russian.
Police said they had been unable to find out much about the dead man.
Former police custody officer, coroner's officer Susan Grimes said she knew of him in her previous role and knew he had originally come to England illegally and been deported at least once.
