Lynn man's 40 years' service
A SENIOR chemist at a Lynn plastics company has celebrated 40 years dedicated service with friends and colleagues.
Keith Bailey, who has lived in the town all his life, joined PIL Membranes (formerly Porvair) as a laboratory assistant in September 1967, a year after the firm relocated from London, and has since worked his way through the ranks to become a senior chemist in the research and development department.
For his hard work and loyalty, Mr Bailey was presented with a 300 voucher by managing director Mark Littlewood at a party held in his honour on Tuesday.
Friends and colleagues were on hand to congratulate him.
