Lynn shoppers to give love message

A LYNN supermarket will be spreading the love and raising money for charity when it hands its tannoy system over to customers on Valentine's Day.

Sainsbury's is giving shoppers the chance to air special messages through the store's speakers on Thursday in an event in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

For 1 a time, people can tell loved ones just what they mean to them – or even pop the question – and be entered into a prize draw to win champagne, chocolates and roses.

The messages can be read out from 8am, with the first message of the day coming from the store's stock control manager David Holder to his wife Ann, who married last year.

The second message will be from TU Clothing assistant Donna Massingham to her shift manager husband Barry, who between them have worked for Sainsbury's for 54 years.

Anyone interested in giving a message should go along to the store's customer service desk.
