Marshland High School prizegiving with guest speaker and former Head Teacher John Bennett and Head Teacher Liz Dormor

Marshland High School held its annual prize giving presentaton evening last month, to celebrate the excellence and progress made in many subjects by students.

Prizes, awards and certificates were presented by John Bennett who was deputy headteacher and then headteacher at the school from 1989 to 2007. Among the guests at the event were the deputy mayor of Lynn and Garry Sandell and the Mayor of Wisbech, Vivien MacRae, with her husband consort Gary. Besides students receiving their GCSE certificates, special prizes were awarded to Jake Pepper who was the highest achieving student and Chloe Andrews who received the Mayor’s Award for Achievement. Mr Bennett is pictured with pupils and present head Liz Dormor.
