Marvellous Magdalen are Sanctuary champions!
PRIZE-WINNNING pupils at Magdalen Village School are looking forward to a visit to the Sea Life Sanctuary, at Hunstanton, next year.
It will be an extra-special outing for brother and sister Shane and Karina Grief who will be travelling there as VIP guests in a stretch limousine while their school mates travel by bus.
The schoolchildren won the free trip in a competition promoted by the Sanctuary in conjunction with the Lynn News.
The challenge was to collect Sea Life vouchers which were published in four separate editions of the Lynn News.
The number of pupils at each school was taken into account with Magdalen coming out on top with the highest average and Shane (9) and Karina (7) as the individuals who collected the greatest number of vouchers at their school.
As well as the luxury transport, they will have 25 each to spend in the Sanctuary shop.
The prizes were presented at the school on Tuesday by Sea Life Sanctuary manager, Nigel Croasdale, and Mark Stanford, newspaper sales manager for the Lynn News.
Runners-up, West Winch Primary and Gaywood's Howard Infants, will both receive a half price visit to the Hunstanton venue.
