Motorists trapped in accidents

EMERGENCY services were called to reports of two accidents involving motorists trapped in vehicles on Saturday.

The first incident happened on the A1065 at Toftrees, near Fakenham, at 6.30am when a 25-year-old female was trapped in her blue Skoda car after it left the road and landed upside down in a ditch.

She was treated at the scene for minor cuts and bruises.

Fire crews were later called to the B1105 at Walsingham following a reports of a 30-year-old male being trapped in a Vauxhall Vectra.

The incident happened at 10.20pm and the driver was taken to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital with back and neck injuries.
