New taxi service based at Gaywood

A NEW taxi office, Gaywood Cars, has been opened in Gaywood by David Blythe and Alan Culy, two drivers formerly with Streamline Taxis.

When Streamline was taken over by Capital Cars, based in Lynn town centre, David and Alan felt there was a gap in the market for a new taxi business in Gaywood.

All the drivers with the new company are ex-Streamline drivers.

"We offer a friendly, reliable service, and aim to make customers feel at ease with us," said David.

The new business is based at 4 Gaywood Court on Wootton Road between Ridout Bakery and Gaywood Pizza, and can be contacted on 01553 761222.

Gaywood Cars began with two four-seater cars and one six-seater, and after four weeks has grown to nine four-seaters and three multi-seaters as business has increased.

It also has access to the Rolls Royce and Limousine owned by the Ramada Hotel at Lynn. All local areas are covered by the new service, with special low prices from Gaywood, where it is based.

Gaywood Cars also does airport work and in fact will go anywhere on mainland Britain.

It also has wheelchair access, and operates on a 24/7 basis.
