No escaping this big family success
THE Collison family's Shetland sheep are known as escape artists at home but they put their reputation to one side for the day to pick up some prizes in the show ring on Wednesday.
Mum Lynn, together with Hebe (15) Tom (14) and George (12), who live at Honeysuckle Cottage, Shepherdsgate, Tilney All Saints, entered five animals in the category for primitive breeds and came away with a second place and also reserve award for a group of three Shetlands.
She said that the whole family has a soft spot for the breed and they have almost become pets.
"They are really smart. They can get out of anywhere. Each one has its own personality, but when they escape from the field and start eating the garden, it makes us wonder why we keep them."
