Norfolk County Council share the cost scheme

Norfolk County Council is inviting town and parish councils in West Norfolk to share the cost of small-scale footway and pavement improvement schemes which could make a big difference to their communities.

Ten communities in the west of the county benefited from projects carried out under the Parish Partnerships initiative this year and £100,000 has been earmarked for schemes in 2013/14. Highway engineers will help the councils to develop their plans.

This year’s completed projects included a pavement with two pedestrian crossings at Thornham, widening of the Manor Road footway in Dersingham, a footway to a playing field at Pentney and four visitor signs at Swaffham.
