Panto boost for babies

PANTOMIME-goers are set to boost the Lynn News Special Care Baby Appeal with after-show collections.

Watlington Players plan to hold the collections at performances of Robinson Crusoe, where there will also be displays of the premature baby clothes made by Lynn knitting group Tiny Toppers, which donates the clothes to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital and sends them abroad.

The show is being staged at the village hall from Thursday to Saturday. The Special Care Baby Appeal aims to raise 150,000 for Lynn’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for ill and premature babies.

Tickets for the pantomime are available from the box office on 0845 0529 645. Donations of wool and materials are always needed by Tiny Toppers, contact Sandra Johnson on 01553 810266.
