Parking charges set to rise - what do YOU think

CAR parking charges locally are set to rise under proposals announced today by West Norfolk Council.

For example, all day parking at Boal Quay, Mondays to Sundays between 8am and 6pm, is set to rise by just over 10 per cent from 1.90 to 2.10 from April 1.

Parking in Austin Street (East) Mondays to Sundays it is proposed will cost 2.20 before 10am instead of the current 2, and 2.90 after 10am, from the current 2.60.

Objections to the draft order of changes can be made to the council at King's Court not later than February 12.
