Pensioner hurt in crash

AN 80-YEAR-OLD man was injured after his car overturned and landed on its roof on the B1145 at Bawsey yesterday morning.

The crash happened on the Bawsey bumps, at the junction of the Brow of the Hill at Leziate, at around 8.30am.

No other cars were involved and the man was taken by ambulance to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital suffering from leg pain.

His injuries are not thought to have been serious.
