Pensthorpe: Appeal for lost ibis

STAFF at Pensthorpe Nature Reserve are appealing for help in finding a bird which should not be too hard to spot.

A scarlet ibis (pictured) has escaped from an aviary which was damaged by the storms in the area over the weekend.

The bird, a native of Venezuela, is capable of foraging in the wild but does need to be returned to Pensthorpe and if anyone spots it they are asked to contact 01328 851465.
