Police appeal after Rougham crash

NORFOLK police are appealing for witnesses after a horsebox and van both caught fire following an accident at Rougham.

The crash, which happened on the B1145, close to the Great Massingham junction at 11.20am on Wednesday, left a man seriously injured.

He had to be airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital at Cambridge for treatment.

The man had been driving a Peugeot van, involved in a collision with the Bedford horsebox from which two horses were rescued before the fire took hold.
