Police appeal to Lynn drivers
POLICE have issued a renewed appeal for motorists to remove all valuables from their vehicles following a spate of thefts in the Lynn area.
The call comes after three CDs and a folder containing a contract and personal bank details were stolen from a green Renault Laguna, which was believed to have been left unlocked on Sir Lewis Street, Lynn.
The incident happened between 10pm on Wednesday, March 12, and 9am the following morning.
A Vauxhall Vectra, securely parked on Cresswell Street, was then targeted overnight between Friday and Saturday.
Thieves smashed the front passenger window and stole a Pioneer CD player.
Another attack also happened on the same night, when a black Rover saloon, parked on Burkitt Street, had its passenger window smashed and a Kenwood hi-fi was stolen.
The final incident took place on Saturday (15), also on Sir Lewis Street, between 3.15am and 7.15am when a Sony stereo was stolen after the passenger window of a silver Hyundai was smashed.
Anyone who witnessed or has any information about the incidents should contact DC William Durrant at Lynn Police Station on 0845 4564567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
