POLICE NAME DEATH-CRASH DRIVER
ONE person was killed and another injured in a crash on the A47 at Narborough yesterday morning (Wednesday), leading to long delays and diversions for motorists.
The crash happened at around 6am, just north of the junction with the A1122.
Two fire crews from Swaffham and Massingham attended and cut two people from the vehicles, one of whom had died.
The road was closed and motorists diverted toward Downham until around 10am.
Today Police revealed the driver killed was Simon Freshwater-Sturgess, 38, of Narborough.
His death has prompted renewed calls for safety measures on the A47. See full story in tomorrow@s Lynn News.
