Police use CS spray in Downham incident

POLICE used CS gas in dealing with a public order incident in Bridge Street, Downham, which led to two men being arrested last Tuesday night.

A Norfolk police spokesman said: "We can confirm that police were called to a disturbance in Bridge Street at about 11.25pm.

"A 22-year-old man was charged with a public order offence and a 39-year-old man was charged with obstructing the police. Both will appear before Lynn Magistrates' Court on November 15."
