Puddleducks' special Santa post

DERSINGHAM postmaster Fraser Lindsay became one of Santa's little helpers when he helped deliver letters from the village toddler group.

Excited children from Puddleducks created picture letters to Father Christmas during a recent session at the village Community Centre, and invited Mr Fraser along. They also took part in festive arts, crafts and games.

Mr Fraser collected up all the letters in his sack, and promised to send them off to Santa. As part of a Post Office scheme, all the youngsters will now receive letters to say their letters arrived safely.

The group’s chairman and secretary Miss Eve Garwood said around 20 children and lots of parents joined in the fun.
