Pudsey IS made of money

PUDSEY bear was decorated in coins by children from King George VI Primary School in Great Bircham to raise money for this year's Children in Need appeal.

Headteacher Mrs Claire Bunton said 14 of the Lynn Road school's 20 pupils took home pictures of the appeal's mascot and glued coins to them, raising 28 in the process.

"We gathered in the hall and laid them all out," she said on Friday.
