Putting sparkle into Fakenham fundraising

FAKENHAM motorists turned out in their droves to support a charity car wash.

The was organised by the town's firefighters.

The retained station, in Norwich Road, washed cars all day in return for donations, managing to raise 350 for the Firefighters' Charity (formerly the Benevolent Fund).

Crew manager Mr Darren Leach said: "We had queues of cars all day long."
